Impact stories

After a mural was painted in the heart of Willow Park, it became a symbol of resilience for the community. What began as a project to beautify a neglected space turned into a gathering point where residents regularly come together to celebrate their shared heritage and history. The mural sparked local pride, reduced vandalism, and helped bridge generational gaps through art.

The Healing Mural in Willow Park

An artist residency in Atlanta brought together artists from across the African Diaspora to collaborate on a mural representing unity and shared culture. This collaboration not only produced a stunning piece of art but also created lasting relationships between artists and local organizations. One of the artists, Amina, noted, “This project connected me to my roots and allowed me to work with artists I admire. It was more than just creating art—it was about creating bonds.”
